Nicolas Hanusse is a senior CNRS researcher in computer science at the University of Bordeaux from which he received his Ph.D. degree (on the topic of combinatorics) in 1997. From 1998 to 2000, he spent one year at Paris Polytechnic School and one year at Ottawa University in the distributed computing team. In 2000, he joined Paris XI University as Assistant Professor. In 2001, he obtained a full-time researcher position. His field of research goes from graph algorithms, distributed computing to data mining.
